What an event costs

From $2 a player — half the league rate.

Tournament registrations are $2 at founding rates ($3 standard), usually built into each player’s entry fee. Only non-cancelled registrations are billed.

How much does it cost to run a tournament?
Tournament registrations are $2 per player at founding rates ($3 standard) — half the league rate. A 14-person event is about $28 at founding rates, usually built into each player’s entry fee. Only non-cancelled registrations are billed.
How do I set up a tournament or outing?
You set it up on the Fareway Hub on the web at ply.golf/operator — it is self-serve and takes minutes. Pick a format, set the entry fee, and share a registration link. Setup is done on the web Hub, not the mobile app.
Can I run a charity or corporate event?
Yes. Fareway handles charity scrambles, corporate outings, and member-guest events — online signups and entry fees, live leaderboards, and automatic payouts, so the day runs itself.
Is this the same as Global Tournaments?
No. Global Tournaments are free, Fareway-managed events that venues opt into and promote to golfers. Running your own tournament or outing is different — you create and run your own event on the Fareway Hub.
Can I run it at a simulator or outdoor course?
Yes. You can run a tournament at a simulator venue or an outdoor course. Automatic score-sync is available for GolfZon; otherwise scores are entered manually or from a scorecard photo.
